How Do I Log In?
The first time you log in, you will use the username and password that you entered when you signed up for Patriot Software, or, if you signed- up with Google Single Sign-on (SSO), you can log directly in using your existing Google account. For more info about Google SSO, please read, “Using Google Single Sign-on.”
On the Patriot Software website, look at the top right corner and click on LOGIN. The LOGIN page will ask for your username and password. Type, click, and you’re in!
Username Reminders and Password Rules
Case-Sensitive? Your username IS NOT case-sensitive, so you don’t have to worry about typing uppercase vs. lowercase. (For example, username “SAMPLE,” will work just as well if you type “sample” or “sAMple.”) Your password IS case-sensitive, so each letter must exactly match your designated password. If your password is not working, check your caps lock and be sure it is off.
Password Rules. Your password must:
- be 10 characters or more
- contain at least one lowercase letter
- contain at least one uppercase letter
- contain at least one number
- contain at least one special character (e.g., “&” or “#”)
What if I forget my Username?
On the LOGIN page, you will click “Forgot Username?” if you are unable to remember your username. That will take you to the “Forgot Username?” screen, where you will enter the email address you have on file under the Settings > User Settings > Manage Login Information > Change Email tab. Then just watch for an email message from Patriot; it will contain your username.
What if I forget my Password?
This is a little different than forgetting your username because you will be asked to create a new password if you cannot remember the old one. Start with the LOGIN page…
On the LOGIN page, you will click “Forgot Password?”
You will type both your email address and username, matching the ones we have in our records. Watch for an email message from Patriot. There will be a link in the email message. Follow the link to enter a new password. You will type in a revised password.
NOTE: If you do not respond within one hour, you will have to start all over again with the “Forgot Password?” page.
On the other hand, perhaps you will remember your password before you get around to setting a new password. In that case, just disregard the email message.
Final Reminders
It’s a good idea to change your password regularly, so you will just go to Settings > User Settings > Manage Login Information > Change Password to reset your password. You can also change your username, if needed, on the Change Username tab.
