Unlimited paid time off (PTO) allows  employees to take off as many days as they need for things like vacation and illnesses.

Offering unlimited PTO is rare, but it is becoming more popular. Businesses might choose to offer unlimited PTO to attract candidates and to provide a work-life balance. Unlimited PTO does not work for all kinds of businesses. For example, unlimited PTO might not work for businesses that need a certain number of people to be present at a time.
