Changing Employee Pay Frequency or Pay Types
If you use Patriot TIME, and you change an employee’s Pay Frequency from Weekly to Biweekly (or the reverse) or change their Pay Type from Hourly to Salary (or the reverse), the employee’s time card will also change.
You should only change an employee’s Pay Frequency or Pay Type if no information has been entered on their time card for the current pay period. Otherwise, their time card information that has not yet been paid in payroll will be deleted and replaced with a new blank time card.
